one thing i’m watching on Hyperliquid is how dependent the ecosystem has become on USDC. that’s not necessarily a bad thing. having a dominant stablecoin makes liquidity simpler, and with USDC now connected across HyperCore and HyperEVM, moving capital between trading and onchain apps becomes easier. but there’s another side to this. if USDC liquidity starts shrinking for an extended period, it could put pressure on trading activity and make it harder for HyperEVM protocols to attract capital. the recent daily inflow is worth watching, but it doesn’t erase the bigger weekly decline. i’m not bearish on HL because of this. i just want to see fresh capital coming in consistently, not a one-day bounce. that would be a much stronger signal for the ecosystem.
